Fantasy Shopping - September Wish List

Hey guys, I hope you're well!

Autumn is my favourite time of year, I love everything about it! Especially the fashion, but with my due date only a couple of months away I can't justify splashing out on expensive maternity-only wear. I will be picking up a few bits of pregnancy friendly clothing but for the most part I'm making do with fantasy shopping. I thought I'd share with you an outfit I'd love to be wearing if I wasn't rapidly expanding.

Dress:
This is the piece that inspired this post, I love it! And it would look super cute with a white t underneath.

Jumper:
A great basic thin jumper for under the dress, perfect to keep warm without being bulky.

Tights:
These are 200 denier, I rarely buy anything less in the cold winter months.

Boots:
Easy and comfy, I don't think you can have to many pairs of ankle boots and these are cute. Hopefully they'll still have them when my feet have gone back to normal!

Bag:
Small but practical, could be worn with so many things. A good investment I think, it's a shame it wouldn't fit many nappies in!

As the weather got colder I would pop on a black leather jacket too, I haven't found one that stands out to me yet this year but I'm sure there are plenty of great ones out there!

Let me know what you think of the outfit and the post! Have a great week and keep an eye out for my SLS free hair care routine coming soon!

Disclaimer: I do not own these photos, they're from the webpages linked beneath each picture.

Grey Beach Day + Natural FOTD

Hey guys, I hope you all had a great weekend! On Saturday, I joined some friends on a camping trip by the sea, naturally it was rainy and grey but still so much fun! Here are a few snaps of the beach and then I'll get into what I wore on my face!

My face: sorry about the photo, I found it really hard to picture this makeup!

Under eye concealer: Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch. I actually don't like this very much, it seems to drag a little and so blends badly, you also need a lot of product to see any difference, but I was wearing it so I'll pop it in

Face concealer (around nose/chin): Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer. I like to use this on redness, it's not quite the right shade for under my eyes but I'll use it if I'm in a rush as it's super easy

Foundation: BareMinerals Original SPF 15 Foundation. As you can see the summer has left me all freckly! I actually love them so I only used a light layer of base products but they can all be built up a little more if need be

Bronzer: Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder. Just a tad over the cheeks and forehead

Brows: Rimmel Brow This Way. I really like this for my blonde brows, cheap and easy!

Eye primer: Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Not as long lasting as I'd expect for a higher end product, I found the shadows creased slightly and faded but it's better than the shadows on their own

Eyeshadow: Urban Decay Naked Basics. Faint across the lid and Crave along the upper lash line, I wanted to keep it super simple

Mascara: Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara. Nothing special but it does the job!

Lipstick: Revlon Matte Balm Enchanting. Hurruh! I finally found it on the books website! I'm going to go back for 'Complex' as I really enjoyed wearing this but the sea air and the campfire wrecked havoc with my lips leaving them very sore so this has been put to the side for now.

I hope you like this post and have a great week! Love, Robyn x

Beauty Haul!

Hey guys,
My first proper post back is a haul! I didn't get too much but to stop this post getting too long, I'll jump straight in.

Nuxe Reve De Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm £9.50
I have too many lip balms so I had put off buying this for such a long time, but I spotted it in France at a reasonable price and couldn't resist! I've only used it a handful of times but I already love it. I've noticed that my lips look fuller after applying so although it's thick it's great in the day time as well as an over night treatment.

Lush Ultrabland Facial Cleanser 45g £7.25
A rushed repurchase as my last tub was running dangerously low! This has been my go to cleanser for years. It's a nourishing balm cleanser which removes makeup easily without irritating my eczema prone skin, my little sister also used it for a while when she had acne and it worked well for her too. A great little product and cheap compared to a lot of balm cleansers on the market.

Bio Oil 200ml £19.99
I had given up caring about my awful stretch marks over the summer, forgetting that I'm likely to get so many more as the months progress. I'm hoping this combined with the Palmers lotion will improve the old ones while stopping any more from popping up!

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer £6.99
I've been without a highlighting concealer for quite a while now so I thought I'd try a new one, especially as I'm having trouble sleeping at the moment!

Revlon Matte Balm Enchanting 255 £7.99
I went in looking for Complex and couldn't see it! Then, I found this in the draw and it looked pretty similar but I couldn't see any mention of it on the shelf. Or on the Revlon website for that matter. It's existence is a mystery but a beautiful one! Update: I can now access the Revlon page on boots.com and this lipstick is listed! A mystery no more.

Cussons Mum and Me Baby Lotion £2.15
My skin has been super sensitive recently so I picked up a cheap baby lotion to moisturise my body, it smells nice but very strong, I don't think I would put this on a young baby!

Boots Body Polisher £1.99, Foot Polisher £1.59 and Exfoliating Gloves £2.69
Not very exciting but I love getting new scrubby things... especially when they're 3 for 2!

That's pretty much it guys! I also picked up a Mitchum roll on deodorant (which I'm sure I'll mention again if it's great) and some more antenatal vitamin but I didn't think you'd want a whole paragraph about them!

I hope you're all enjoying September! To those of you back at school today or off to uni very soon, good luck! Love, Bobby x

New Laptop Resolutions - I'm back

Hey guys, long time no post!

I'm really sorry for my absence, I've had a busy summer filled with technical difficulties but now, I'm back! Thank you so much to those of you who still check my blog now and again, it means the world to me.

I'm currently writing on a brand new laptop, my old one bit the dust back in July due to a corrupt motherboard apparently. I'm not entirely sure how this happened but I'm amazed it lasted as long as it did, so I have decided to treat this one much better. Here are my New Laptop Resolutions:

  • I shall never use my laptop as a plate, or a table for that matter
  • I shall never drink tea over the keyboard
  • I shall never fall asleep cradling my laptop and therefore it shall never fall off the bed
  • I shall actually back up my hard drive, at least once

Okay, four seems doable... any more and I'm setting myself up for failure! Plus I'm still trying to get to grips with the new keyboard so this post is very frustrating to write.

I have a haul to write up so you can expect more posts from me soon... I promise!

Love, Bobby x

Update

Hey guys, just a quick post to say that I will be pretty sporadic for a little while. My computers broken so it's not easy to write posts plus I'm going away to places without Internet a lot this summer! Combine that with trying to move house and there's no way I can stick to a schedule!

The next post will probably be all about Latitude as I'm off to the festival pretty soon! Fun fun!

I hope you're all having a great summer, Bobby

Mani Monday - Blueberry

Hey guys, It's been a little while since I did a Mani Monday but I'm hoping to go back to doing them regularly until the weather gets colder and I can no longer sit outside! This weeks is BarryM Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Blueberry £3.99.

It's a beautiful colour! Mine's a little old now so it's gone a bit gloopy, but despite that, two coats gave a great finish even without a top coat. I stopped using Barry M for a while as I find their original formula goes on a bit streaky, I will try and remember that this doesn't!

Nail polish chips so quickly on me! I'm lucky if I can get it to last more than a day but I can never get it to last through a hair wash. I painted my nails friday and this is still looking pretty good despite two hair washes! There's a bit of wear but it really isn't that noticeable! It's lasted much better than any of my more expensive polishes (Nail's Inc, I'm looking at you) so I think I'll go test some more BarryM formulas and colours, especially as they're so cheap!

Sorry I posted this later than usual,  I'm still having tech issues, hopefully they'll be sorted soon! Bobby

7 in 7: Revlon Striking

Hey guys! I've done it, I've broken my lip balm habit and actually started wearing lip colours again! Unfortunately my laptop messed up this morning and won't turn on properly so I'm having to write this on my tablet. Not the easiest but I'll do my best!

Today I'm wearing Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Striking £7.99, it's a beautiful orange toned red, pretty much a brick red. Not quite matte but definitely not too shiny, I think this is my favourite formula of the week, it feels quite moisturising on the lips, obviously it's not going to make dry lips better but I dont think it'll make them worse! I'll be checking out some other colours next time I'm near a stand for sure.

This is it two hours, a bagel, an apple and cup of tea later, it doesn't claim to be long lasting but I think it's the best of the week! Although it did start to feel a little dry as it wore off, that soon stopped when I reapplied. I definitely recommend these, they're so cheap too!

I hope you've enjoyed my week in lipsticks! Tomorrow I'll be back with a 'Mani Monday',  I'm really impressed with the nail varnish so be sure to check it out :) Bobby

Saturday 11 July 2015

7 in 7: Too Faced Naked Dolly

The penultimate post in my week of lipsticks! Today I'm wearing Too Faced La Creme in Naked Dolly £18, I think this is my only true nude lipstick and I really want to love it but I can't.

It's creamy, shiny and settles on the lips in a way that is quite concealer-esque. If you then dab at it with your fingers it looks smoother and more natural but despite scrubbing my lips last night it just seems to seep into any line on the lips making them look dry. To be honest, I don't think many people would notice how my lips looked as from normal standing distance apart, they look fine, but as the colour wears off so quickly, you have to go through the ordeal of making sure they look okay a lot. It's a shame because I spent so long looking for a nude colour I like and this is really pretty but the formula just doesn't hold up, especially for the price! I will continue to wear it until I find a better one but I really wouldn't recommend you buy it.
Any suggestions on nude lipsticks for pale girls, let me know!

I think I'll end the week with one of my many reds, so come back tomorrow! Bye :)

Friday 10 July 2015

7 in 7: Clinique Air Kiss

Day 5, I was looking back at the week and realised just how similar most of the colours I wore are, those were some of my least warn lipsticks so it makes sense they'd be similar. Today I wanted something different, I was going to wear Too Faced Naked Dolly (you'll have to wait till tomorrow now) but the UV index is meant to be high today so I chose Clinique Long Last Gloss Wear SPF 15 in Air Kiss £16.50. Gosh, what a mouthful, that's exactly why I rarely use the full name of lipsticks, usually brand and colour will suffice!

Although I don't usually wear gloss, this is my favourite lip colour so far this week

If I wasn't doing this challenge I would be wearing a balm with SPF as I find lip gloss  a bit gross and sticky. This is still rather sticky and apart from the SPF this is just a generic lip gloss, maybe slightly longer lasting but I couldn't say. Unless you like to wear lip gloss whatever the weather (it can apparently magnify the suns rays so if it's sunny SPF is key!), save your money and buy a cheaper one! I haven't tried the L'oreal Glam Shine as I don't want another gloss to ignore but I've heard they're great.

That's all folks, see you tomorrow! Bobby

P.S I think L'oreal has repackaged and renamed the lip glosses but I can't remember what they are now, sorry!

Thursday 9 July 2015

7 in 7: Clinique Super Strawberry

Day four! Half way through my week of lipsticks. Today I'm wearing a Clinique Chubby Stick in Super Strawberry £17. It says it's a moisturising lip colour balm, and it certainly is. You could get away with wearing this even if your lips are in bad condition. As a tinted balm, it's obviously quite glossy, much glossier than the Revlon ones, so would look really pretty on other people but I prefer something so pigmented to be more matte. I don't think I'll get much wear out of it at all this summer but I can imagine in early autumn, when my lips start to chap, this could be a nice transition into berry lipsticks. It's not cheap though, if you find your perfect everyday colour then get it, but if you just want a tinted balm, I think Maybelline Baby Lips, texture wise, are pretty similar and only £2.99.

No 'two hours time' picture today as it doesn't claim to be long lasting and it's definitely a pigmented balm rather than a lipstick or stain! That means you can generally feel when it needs topping up, plus it fades naturally so unless you have super pale lips, you don't need to be religious about reapplying.

I'll be back tomorrow with an actual lipstick! Laters, Bobby

Wednesday 8 July 2015

7 in 7: Revlon Rendezvous

Welcome back! Day three of my week in lipsticks is a Revlon Kissable Balm Stain in Rendezvous (gosh that's a hard word to spell). It's a very wearable orange, with a pink base. I remember getting compliments when I wore it, but that was a quite a while ago.

The colour lasts really well but it becomes more pink as the day goes on. The stain part is definitely a bright pink rather than orange. It does look pretty, but better in bright natural light so bare that in mind if you wear it. I think it would be perfect for festivals as it lasts a long time and will look great outside.

This is after two hours wear, sorry it looks brighter in real life, I showered after this picture and it still stayed pink. Brilliant stain and no drying affect at all!

That's all for today folks, see you tomorrow! Bobby

Tuesday 7 July 2015

7 in 7: Elizabeth Arden Desert Rose

Hey guys, welcome to day two of my week in lipsticks! Today, as the title suggests I'm wearing Desert Rose by Elizabeth Arden (£21), a moisturising formula with a colour that's said to last 12 hours (heh, yeah right)! Drastic longevity claims aside, I love the formula. It's quite dry in the bullet so when applied onto product free lips you can get a clean outline without a brush or liner, but on the lips it feels balmy and moisturising. It's exactly what I want!

In the bullet:

First application:

I like the colour but I'm not so keen on the sheen. Up close you can see it has tiny particles of gold glitter which really isn't for me. However you would only see that if you came really close and stared at my mouth (freak), from normal interaction distance, all you would see is a really pretty colour.

This is it after two hours of wear:

I'm actually shocked, there's still some colour! Slight downside is that some dried cranberry stuck to it, I can imagine it being a very irritating lipstick to wear whilst eating crisps or rice... but, even picking tit off, the colour stayed! Now, this might just be because it's quite close to my natural lip colour and all that's left is gold glitter, but hey, if that is the case, its faded very evenly. I would reapply (it reapplied very well) at this point anyway, but it's nice to know that it still look okay!

I've just realised that in photos, this looks very similar to yesterdays Estee Lauder lipstick. But side by side, today's is a lighter, slightly peachier, more wearable colour which I definitely prefer!

As always, any tips to improve my blog or life, or just if you've tried a product I've spoken about, leave a comment! Till next time, Bobby x

P.S Sorry about the quality of today's photos

P.P.S Tomorrow, the lipstick is drugstore!

Monday 6 July 2015

7 in 7: Estee Lauder Bois de Rose

Welcome to the first lipstick of the week! I went with Estee Lauder Pure Color Bois de Rose (£22). I chose this because it was the first one I saw in my lipstick box this morning. It was a gift with purchase sometime last year and on the website swatches (I can't remember which website but it wasn't the one I've linked) this looked like my best shade. It's a very creamy texture which is a formula I find hard in bright/dark colours, I get scared they'll smudge and I can never get a clean line without a matching lip liner! It's all to much to think about.  I don't have a picture of the first application as I was in a rush but here's it in the tube, as you'll see, the lighting has a huge affect on the colour. Perhaps that's why the swatches are so different on different websites.

It's quite long lasting but I wouldn't be confident leaving it over an hour without checking all's well. Luckily it fades and reapplies nicely. I found it quite drying though, my lips feel a tad tight after a few hours of wear. That might just be my pregnant skin though, as I vaguely remember liking it last winter.

 After two hours
Reapplication

The verdict? I don't think it's anything special, a nice colour, but you can find formulas that are just as good in the drugstore and even better if you look high end! Having said that, it has great reviews on every website so maybe it's just my preference for a drier formula.

A Week In Lipsticks

Hey guys, I'm currently trying to sort through all my stuff and purge as much as I can before I move! I find this really hard but, I've managed to find a few items to get rid of. I've put my non-maternity clothes that I still loved in storage, but there's still a jumbled up suitcase of clothes to wash and look through. It's decided to rain today so that'll have to wait... typical!

My measly offerings to the bin men, these are so old and out of date, you can probably tell by the grossness. I loved those eyelash curlers from the Body Shop but they started pulling out the eyelashes on my left eye!

My first thought, was that make up would be an easy place to start, it didn't go too well. I've come to the conclusion that I have too many lipsticks, some I don't think I've ever even warn (stupid beauty boxes)! That along with Khila's (Miss Budget Beauty, she's great) 30 lipsticks in 30 days posts was the inspiration to do 7 lipsticks in 7 days! I'll post a lipstick review every day this week. I'll do this challenge a few times -I have around 30 lip colours, but not 30 days of internet this month-  until I've decided which lipsticks I really don't like or wont wear. A fun way to get rid of some stuff! I hope.

If any of you are attempting a sort out, good luck! Please, please, give me some tips in the comments!

June Favourites

Hey guys, just thought I'd share what I've been loving this month, it's not much but I've really appreciated these three products!

Bare Minerals Correcting Concealer SPF 20  in Light 2 (£21 but currently £18.90)
I love this concealer! I finally bit the bullet and bought the full size (in the FeelUnique sale you should all check out) after sparingly using the one in this set for ages. It's a very high coverage but is so creamy and nice, it's pretty much the only thing that makes my eczema look better, plus, it doesn't sting! I finally found my 'saving face' concealer.

Palmer's Massage Lotions for Stretch Marks (£3.09)
I can't believe I've only been using this for four days! The stretch marks on my thighs have improved so much since using this, they're obviously still bad but have faded much more than I thought they would. Twice a day seems excessive but so worth it. I really wish I had taken before and after photos but I didn't expect it to work so well so quickly!  I'm so glad I bought this.

Boots Kids Sensitive SPF 50+ (£7) and Boots Baby SPF 50+ Sun cream (£6)
I bought new sun cream for my body as last years bottle had lost its power (I got very burnt at the end of May as I always forget sun cream stops being so great once it's been open for a year). These two types don't effect my eczema and they're not pricey (currently two for £8)! I don't use these on my face but they're a saviour for my body.

Mini Superdrug Haul

Hey guys,

I popped into Superdrug on my way home and thought I'd grab some potions for my ever expanding body! This is what I came out with:

Vaseline Spray & Go Body Moisturiser (on sale for £2.45)
I've had my eye on this for ages, but at full price (£4.99 for 190ml) it doesn't seem worth it, especially not for a Vaseline product! The great thing about this though is that it's non-greasy so perfect for hot days, especially if you're anything like me and will sweat off body lotions within seconds of leaving the house! Gross.

Palmer's Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks (£3.09)
This is what I went in for, I have been getting really bad stretch marks on my thighs, hips and even on my back - not where I expected to get them at all! I have heard great things about this lotion for preventing and improving the appearance of stretch marks, so I'm hoping it will fade the dark purple into a more normal skin colour!

Palmer's Massage Cream for Stretch Marks (£6.99)
From what I can tell, this is just a more concentrated version of the lotion but I thought it would be good for night time, and as it's smaller it should be better for trips away this summer.

Superdrug Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream (on sale for £1.99)
I'm usually pretty fussy with face creams as I have super sensitive skin and eczema that flares up whenever it fancies. So I'm not sure at all about this face cream, I had heard great things about it and as it was so cheap I'm going to give it a go. Even full price it's way, way, cheaper than my current one, which is on it's last legs.

Shaving Foam Sensitive Skin  (on sale for .89p)
I always buy men's shaving stuff as it's not taxed as a luxury (which woman's razors and even tampons etc are!) so it's a tad cheaper but just as good, sometimes better. I'm starting to struggle to shave my legs in the shower and I thought using foams again rather than conditioner or shower gel might make it easier.

So that's all! Apart from some tissues, but they're not very interesting. Superdrug have some great bargains at the moment and they're not the only ones! I also stumbled upon Feel Unique's up to 50% off summer sale which is well worth a look, I grabbed a few BareMineral items so I should be talking about them soon, but I couldn't wait that long to share the sale news! Happy Shopping :)

Mani Monday - London Lane

Hey guys, I hope you had a great solstice! Here's this weeks Mani Monday :)

Nails Inc London Lane - as far as I can tell this was a limited edition winter shade

I thought this deep purple/blue glitter would be perfect for Midsummer's night so I nipped outside to paint annnd.... was thoroughly disappointed. There are a lot of black and blue chunks that cling weirdly, not the beautiful deep mysterious purple I was going for. It would be fine as a sparse top coat over a red in winter but the bottle (it looks much more purple in real life) and description were misleading. I don't have high hopes for it's lasting power either, as last weeks Nails Inc polish (Lexington Gardens) lasted a day and a half, boo! I'm going to stop buying Nails Inc, I get caught up in the hype but in reality, they're nowhere near as good as something like Barry M.

This picture is with two coats in an attempt to save my nails, I'm not sure it made a difference...

I hope your Monday is full of sparkle too! Bye for now

For The Love of Lip Balm

Hey guys, Happy Solstice!

When I thought about writing this post I assumed it would just be a few balms, I didn't realise how many I have! I'm often losing them (and by that I mean chucking them in my handbag and forgetting all about it) and buying more so hopefully now I've found most of them I will stop!

SPF Lip Balms

Palmers Cocoa Butter and The Body Shop Vitamin E -
Both of these balms have SPF 15. They are my favourites and maybe that has something to do with it, they stay on the lips and protect for longer. I first bought the Body Shop one when I was 15, I had the most painful lips, dry, cracked, bleeding... I saw this in store and picked it up on a whim, within 48 hours my lips were pretty much perfect. It's the only balm I've ever repurchased!

Just Lip Balms

Malin+Goetz Mojito Lip Balm - So disappointed with this, I heard great things but it doesn't seem to help my lips at all and it doesn't even smell like mojito!

Hurraw! Lemon Lip Balm -  I really like this one, it isn't a wonder product but it smells great and makes my lips feel nice too. Plus, it's vegan, which is always a good thing.

The Body Shop Lip Butters - I have Dragon Fruit and 'Chocomania' (no longer on the website), the dragon fruit stays near my makeup and I'll often put it on just after doing my base make up.  I use the cocoa more like vaseline, so I'll pop it on my eyebrows or lashes if I see it.They're nothing special and I wouldn't have them as my only balm but they're nice

Vaseline - I've had them all over the years but I would never buy them now. They don't work at actually nourishing your lips, they essentially burn off the top layer. If I have a lot of dry skin I will use it occasionally and pop a better balm on after but I'd rather use a scrub for that if I can find it.

Tinted Balms

Maybelline Baby Lips and Clinique Chubby Sticks
I barely touch these anymore, they're nice if my lips are dry and I want a touch of colour but they're nothing remarkable. I'm glad I got the mini chubby sticks in various magazines because I don't think they're good enough for the price tag unless you would wear it every day of course, so if they came out with my perfect everyday colour (I'm not sure what that is yet...) then I'd buy it in a heart beat.

Scrub

Look at it glow like an angel!
This is The Body Shop Lipscuff and it's great, works well at exfoliating the lips and smells like mint, what could be better?! I love that it's in a stick rather than a pot as it's less messy and more precise.

Mani Monday - Lexington Gardens

Hey guys!
I stopped painting my nails on a regular basis when I fell pregnant due to the nasty chemicals in some polishes. but now it's summer I can paint them outside, which is obviously well ventilated! I have quite a few colours that have fallen to the way side but I'm determined to get some use out of them! I thought a short weekly post would be a great way to make sure I didn't neglect my hands or my polish stash!

This week I've chosen Nails Inc Lexington Gardens, it's such a pretty colour for this time of year!
This is the old packaging but the polish is still fine, although I hope the new packaging comes with a wider brush! This brush was the traditional type that doesn't really fit well with the nail.

This polish would have looked better with a second coat of colour but it was hot outside so I snapped a photo, shoved on a top coat and ran for cover!

I can't remember how long this lasts so I'll let you know in next weeks post!

I hope you're having a great Monday!

Baby Haul!

Hey guys, as of yesterday I'm 16 weeks pregnant. I spent the first 14 weeks completely exhausted, to the point where I wasn't sure if I was about to be sick or cry :p but I got through it and here I am. Doing well, apart from a cold! Things are starting to get moving, I've got a little bump, we're house hunting, and I'm starting to gather bits and pieces for baby! We're not finding out the gender until the birth so I'm buying things that I don't think are gender specific. Which usually means looking in the boys section if there isn't a great unisex section. This annoys me as there should be much more unisex stuff available, and things like dinosaurs shouldn't be classed as 'boys'! Mini rant over...

Peter Rabbit Dungaree set Marks and Spencers

This set is adorable! It's the first thing I bought for baby, back when I was newly pregnant. It's so soft and I love the corduroy! This set is no longer on their website but they have other Peter Rabbit stuff!

Thick Socks MotherCare

Just basic socks but extra thick! Baby's due at the  end of November so I thought some nice thick socks for the car journey home would be perfect!

Elephant Hat JoJo Mamam Bebe

I bough this a few weeks ago as my hairdresser was running late, if I'd had more cash on me at the time I would have bought the whole set there and then, there's a sleeper suit and a soft jacket which are just so cute! I love elephants so poor baby's going to have them on everything!

Next from JoJo Mamam Bebe is this body pillow!

It was actually bought for me by my other half as I was having trouble sleeping. My hips and lower back were in constant pain making walking difficult,  but even after just one nap with this pillow they felt better! I was so shocked. This one is also great as it'll double up as a breast feeding pillow when baby's born. I couldn't find the make on their website so I've linked you to a Argos one instead.

Scratch Mittens Babies R Us

Just basic white scratch mittens, not exciting but necessary!

The majority of stuff we've bought s far came from TK Maxx, but as I'm sure you know, their website does not reflect what's in their stores! So, sorry for the lack of links but I'll show you some pictures anyway!
My favourites from T K Maxx have to be the baby grow and the blanket! So cute

If you have any recommendations or tips for pregnancy or motherhood let me know in the comments!

Current Food Favourites

Hey guys,

I'm pregnant (obvious if you read last weeks post, but I'll say more about it in the future)! Very exciting, but it's wrecking havoc with my eating habits! I'm trying so hard to be healthy but do occasionally cave in and indulge. Here are a few of my current sweet treats!

Nakd Bars

I love these for a quick snack, I usually have one in my handbag to eat on the go. They're very sweet but all natural ingredients, raw fruit and nuts squashed together, so they're 1 of your 5 a day! I'm yet to find one I don't like. Perfect! Try a few, then when you love them get them here!

Raw Chocolate
I had this one last time

Any brand, they're all so tasty! These are just great as they're very creamy and indulgent so I don't eat the whole thing at once. My older sister has a great recipe that I'm going to try, I'll get back to you!

Cream Donuts

Especially the ones from Greggs, I know, gross right? But sometimes I just cave in and buy one!

Ice cream

It's so hot in Norwich right now! I always found the heat to be a pain, but it's even worse now. When I go for a walk, I usually end up getting an ice cream (always Ronaldo's  if they sell it). I only buy single serve tubs or cones as I have no portion control!

Smoothie

Especially this one (currently on offer at Sainsbury's)  but really, I'm happy with any type. I love fruit but having to make sure it's been washed again before eating it puts me off (yes, I'm that lazy). Smoothies are perfect, the great taste of fruit with out any hassle

I wish I could start baking again, I used to love my own healthier alternatives but I live in a shared house at the moment so it's not the easiest to spend a day in the kitchen! When that changes I'm looking forward to experimenting and posting recipes :)

Disclaimer: unfortunately this week the photos aren't my own
