Huge New Look Haul - Maternity, Sale and Accessories!

I've recently been going overboard on the New Look website, they have a great and affordable maternity section so I ordered some basics a few weeks ago. I then got a 20% off code (no longer available), so I couldn't resist another gander on the website. Guess what? They have buy one get one free on ALL hair accessories and jewellery! I bought so much stuff it had to be delivered in two separate bags, that hasn't happened for a good few years... Here's a breakdown of what I bought!

'Graphic Drop' earrings £4.99 - ''Filigree Bead Drop' (sold out) earrings £2.99 - Green ring £4.99 - Turquoise Ring £4.99 -  Bangles (three joined) £3.99 - Ethnic Drape necklace £12.99

Rings (set of four) £7.99 - Zigzag cuff £4.99 - Silver Tassel Stone necklace £5.99 - Statement necklace £9.99
I love a piece of eye catching jewellery for pairing with basics, I'll definitely get a lot of wear out of these!

Denim dress £12.00 reduced from £24.99 - Khaki Crochet Trim maternity tunic dress £9.99 (I also own the black version but had to pay full price for that! £14.99) - Two tone Mamalicious maternity dress £11 down from £35 - Watermelon clutch! £12.99  I love this bag

Blue sandals (wide fit) £12.99 - Denim maternity shorts £19.99 - Hair Flower garlands, blue and yellow £3.99 each - Jersey maternity shorts aka comfiest thing ever £9.99

Grey and white maternity Tee £12.99 - Overbump maternity jeans £10 down from £22.99 - Blue and white stripe maternity Tee £12.99 - Underbump maternity Jeans £10 down from £22.99

Rust Cold Shoulder maternity Tee £6 from £14.99 - White embroidered maternity shirt £17.99 - Red stripe maternity Tee £12.99

Everything fits perfectly except for the jeans! Both pairs fall down loads which is a pain as you cant wear a belt :/ but the shorts don't and I have two pairs of black maternity leggings that stay up well (I have these ones but they need a long top as they can go a little see-through!
I tried to keep to clothes that'll go together well and then the jewellery to spice things up. I hope you like it too! Outfit posts coming very soon :)

Love and Hugs

P.S sorry about the photos, bad lighting meant I couldn't wear the clothes for photographs, boo!

Saving Face

Nothing boosts confidence like a great face day! Unfortunately, these rarely happen naturally. Thankfully I have found some great products for when nothing will go right! These products are complete fail-safes and have been well loved so excuse the photos!

Garneir BB Cream for sensitive skin 'Light' £9.99 but currently on sale for £6.66!
The texture of my skin is awful! I've tried so many primers and foundations but none compare to this! This always looks great, not super high coverage but if it was it would probably be too dark for my skin, in winter I'll often wear this over the top of it just to lighten it up a bit. If I find myself needing more coverage on spots or redness then I'll use this as a primer. I haven't found a foundation or concealer that isn't 10 times better over this!

Sleek Face Contour Kit 'Light' £9.99

I wore this literally every day when I was working and even when left my job I hardly went out the house without this on! I'm shocked at how well this lasted, I must have had it for a few years. It gives a light contour but builds up for a sculpted, model cheek bone look! Although, one piece of advice, go easy on the blush, it's not very subtle...

Maybelline Colour Tattoo 'On and On Bronze' £4.99 and Urban Decay Naked Basics £23

On their own, neither product lasts well on my eyelids but using the cream as a base really makes it last all day (and all night, I once went to sleep after a night out with these on my eyes and the next day my friend asked me how I'd done my makeup already)! I don't think I've ever used 'Foxy' but the other colours get a lot of love.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain  'Romantic' £7.99

They've apparently re-branded these  'ColorBurst' so I really hope they haven't reformulated as their other crayon stains don't last nearly as long on the lips! This one really is a stain, so even when  the initial application fades you're left with a beautiful colour. It's perfect for going to a meal or drinks as you know you'll look great throughout the evening! I wore this so much that when I lost it walking into town, I ended up being 15 minutes late for my friend, I had to run to Superdrug first! It's my perfect red, I think she understood...

I would love to hear your fail-safe products or tips, I'm new to blogging so any thoughts on how to make it better would be muchly appreciated!

A Day in the Country!

It's almost the end of bluebell season! So naturally I spent my Sunday roaming around with the family.
We live in Norfolk so chose the woods at Blickling for our walk, it's stunning when the bluebells are out, blanketing the ground, it really is magical! My photo above just doesn't do it justice!

Whilst there we were surprised at how quiet it was until a friendly dog walker filled us in, a short drive a way was a beautiful estate full of rhododendrons and azaleas, called Stoddy Estate. It only opens Sundays in May so everyone had headed there! As we were so close we jumped in the car and headed over, today it didn't open till 1pm so we were slightly early, luckily we had a flask of tea and there was a plant sale to keep us busy! I chose these beautiful plants for me and my sister
Entry was £5 each but well worth it. Sculptures, a Water Garden, tea, cake and of course, beautiful flowers! Here are a few of my favourite sculptures, which are all for sale in the estate if you're much richer than me!

The Griffin and the Lion are partially made out of drinks cans, a brilliant way to recycle if you ask me!  And of course, a few of the beautiful flowers we were bombarded with, I just love the fiery reds!

On our way out we bought some lovely local asparagus and of course, strawberries, all in all a brilliant day!
